Thanks for your quick response.  I am amazed at how fast you crank out a new
beta.  I won't have time today to test this out, as I must leave shortly for
my community orchestra rehearsal.  I'm picking up more and more details

A quick beta update to beta version 0.06, which just adds FCClefDef(s).

The 18 clef definitions are loaded at positions 0-17. The VerticalAdjust
property is what you need.

For now, you should be able to use the FirstClef property of FCStaff. 
It'll not work for clef changes along the staff though... That'll arrive in
a later beta.
