[JW Lua] Automatic float to integer conversion ... Lua 5.3 ?!

I would be willing to go into fixing if Lua 5.3 brought any major 
advantages.
But I don't know too much about it.
Did you have any concrete ideas in mind when you decided to upgrade to 5.3 ?
