I'm trying to reposition notes horizontally using BeatChartElement objects.
I'm running into a problem similar to what I experienced with the 2007 PDK.
The FullSpan data element value changes once a note has been moved, either
manually or programmatically. Spacing the measure to "Note Spacing"
(<ctrl>-4) gives an initial value. Once a note is moved, a new larger value
for FullSpan is returned. Neither value (in Evpu16 units) makes sense in
relation to the actual measure size. Also, the BeatChartElement data
structure appears to be different from the PDK2007 structure. Can you
enlighten me as to the actual data structure, what each of the data elements
in a BeatChartElement object are, mainly FullSpan? Also, I can't make the
changed note positions respond to the changes I implement with
SetHorizontalPosition or with MoveHorizontalPosition. I've tried the
BeatChartElement SaveAll and SaveNew functions and the various save
functions for BeatChartElements. What am I missing here? Any help is
appreciated. Sorry to ask in what appears to be a very busy time for you.
