[JW Lua] Manipulate ties?

I know I can turn ties on and off or flip them using various options in the FCNote class. I also know there are three different classes set up for handling tie preferences. Is there a way, though, to adjust the look of ties on a case-by-case basis? Adjust the length of an individual tie, or its arc?
