[JW Lua] Problem with temporary file creation

Robert,

a user has reported that he gets the following error message with 
Perfect Layout/macOS in RGP Lua, but not in JW Lua:
“Script Result: ERROR: unable to generate a unique filename.”

I am not 100% sure as I can't reproduce it, but I assume it comes from 
this command:
     local tmpfile=os.tmpname()

Do you have any idea what could cause this?

I only have the following additional info:
- Mac Pro 6.1 with OS 12.7.5,  10 years old
- 30 GB still free on the hard drive

I haven't heard of this problem before.
But I know that "unique filename..." is an error message associated with 
tmpname().
