entering umlauts (e.g. ALT-0228 = letter ä) in the "Plug-in def"
dialog<br>
seems to be not fully supported by JW Lua yet.<br>

When I enter it (for example in the author field), it looks good at
first<br>
in the text input field, but already looks wrong in the list above.<br>
When I close the dialog, it looks good: ä became xE4 which is
correct.<br>
But when I open the Plug-in def dialog again, the letter is screwed
up and<br>
has become xFD (=<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family:
Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium; font-style:
normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing:
normal; line-height: normal; orphans: auto; text-align:
