[JWplugins] Yada trem

I am trying to get a tympani roll, which I assume 
is like a tremolo?   Finale doesn't want to do 
this.   I have tried it with the 'tr' 
articulation, with the 'squiggle' articulation, 
with the TGtools 'easy tremolo' and with the yada 
tremolo.  None of them do anything.   The program 
just plays a straight note.  I need a half-note 
roll...  I have seen somewhere about doubling up 
on note values, but that doesn't make any 
difference either.  Is there a secret trick here that I don't know about?

I am using 2012c on win 7 ultimate 64-bit, if any of that makes a difference...

Any ideas?
