Sent this to Finale support:
Running Mac OSX 7.5. FM14.5 doesn’t allow me to adjust window size neither by clicking the green circle nor by dragging window corner. Crashes when I attempt changing the background colour in Preferences.

Hello All!

MakeMusic has now released 2014.5, which is even more picky about not 
using Carbon plug-ins.
If you are a FinMac user, this is the compatibility notes for the JW 
Freeware plug-ins:

* Make sure to download the latest version of the plug-ins. Any plug-in 
update that has been released at least during the 1.5 years should work 
with 2014.5.

* Do not use JW Plug-in Tool and JW Category Sorter on the 2014.5/Mac 
yet. I'll have Cocoa-compatible versions of those plug-ins available 
shortly!
