The "JW Change" (beta) plug-in can help you with the most tedious step
at least (to select a bracket size that fits the chord span).

What you'll need to do is:
1. Create one EngraverFontSet bracket articulation (turn off all the
position options like "Inside Slurs" etc).
2. Add these articulation on all the chords where you want them (don't
bother if they don't match in size)
3. Run "JW Change" with the Articulations->Swap task - use the "Left
Bracket (Engraver)". The articulations will be changed to sizes that
fits the chord spans.
4. Position the brackets afterwards

There will be another plug-in in the future that does everything
automatically, but that will not be in the near future.

Best regards,

Jari Williamsson
